- •Classroom Constitution/Community- We are Rm. 2! We work as a team.
•Class Compliments: If they earn compliments they get a rock in the “YOU ROCK!” Jar. Once the jar is filled we will celebrate with a whole class activity.
Celebration Jar: When students go above beyond by showing core values, working hard, completing homework, etc. They will earn a raffle ticket and fill out a short sheet to go home to share their “celebration”. At the end of the week we will pull 3 names from the jar and they will choose fa small token from the mystery box. - Individual Behavior System: Each child will have cubes on their desk. Cubes are taken if they are not acting appropriately (EX. Shouting out, off task, not making good use of time, etc.) Therefore along with the examples I gave, if a student is distracting themselves, neighbors, and/or the teacher, a cube is taken and they understand this is a warning for them to make a better choice. If they lose 3 cubes, they will move their clip to make a better choice. Then they get their 3 cubes back (with the hope that they don’t lose anymore). If they lose 3 cubes again, then they move their clip again. This process continues until a clip is moved to call home (which hopefully doesn’t happen). Those that lose 6 cubes need to fill out a behavior notice. This needs to be signed by the teacher and the student, then they need to bring it home to get signed.
